How many times have I asked on these lists for

Hi Rob, sad to see you go, but thanks for all your time, work and improvements on the HTMLHELP program.
This means until there's a new maintainer we're only able to improve the documentation, not the program.
Perhaps both components should be split up so more non-programmers like me can work on the helpfiles.

Well, the help program, that still needs to be
re-written from the ground up. There is a bug
somewhere that seems to cause help it to crash when
HIMEM is loaded. Maybe you could roll back a few
versions, whatever.

Be carefull in blaming HIMEM. If the same problem occurs when using MS HIMEM (I can easily verify, not done yet),
then it has to be a problem in HTMLHELP program.
I'll have a look at different versions of HTMLHELP, to see where the problem was introduced.

As said, I'm not a programmer, but I'll at least have a look at the FASTHELP program to see what goes wrong there.

I'll describe the problems I found with (HTML/FAST)HELP to this mailinglists, and probably make a Bugzilla entry.

good luck,

Bernd
