Hi,

From: "Owen Rudge" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

SEAL 1.x used to be extremely picky about the versions of applications it wanted to build with: only Allegro 3.12, DJGPP so and so, etc. SEAL 2.0.x can build with any version of Allegro 4.x, but it may not like certain DJGPP/gcc versions, etc. You also need a specific FreeType version, and so on.

I tried with DJGPP version 2.03 and Allegro 4.03 to compile SEAL 2.00.11-src,
as the build.txt suggested. dlxload.cc got errors trapped at line 93,94,161 with "friend declaration require class-key..." and line 252,1397 "cast from pointer to integer of different size..."

Why not update the source package and the programming documentation to allow someone to carry on?

Unfortunately, the code as it is is really a large mess. I'm just speaking to one of the many maintainers who came in after me who did a bit of work, to see what they changes: I might be able to do something with it.

Yes, good to see an unattended project, still has a chance to be picked up by someone in the future who has the interest to revitalize it.
It is a pity that several years effort from various programmers lost completely.
