I think it will return 2 currently. Let me know I can adjust so returns 1
thru 26 for block devices and 0 for successful character devices. Or
suggest other values. A future change could be additional codes for actual
errors, no mem vs bad arguments ...
Multi unit & multi device drivers need to be tested not sure of an example
to test with off hand. Any suggestions?
