I have no idea what that means. Hangs where / when? When you use the
internal "BEEP" command or when using SHELLHIGH or when changing
"lock"(s) or do you mean my latest SVN build or ... ??

Yes, of course, it can't be *that* hard (famous last words)! And
although I'm heavily unqualified, I've still at least *thought* about
trying. But it's beyond me right now. (Arjay from BTTR had his own
mini shell started in actual working form, but it never left beta. Of
course, he's busy, but that was only a few months ago, so there's
hope.)
