I would be very excited to see someone add encrypted volume support to
FreeDOS. As I mentioned in the other discussion, it shouldn't be very
difficult to "unlock" an encrypted volume and present it as a drive letter.
That would make it transparent to applications. The encryption/decryption
might be computationally expensive, depending on the method used, but I
think the added privacy would provide enough value to support the
performance hit.
