Just wondering, is this packaged archive that much different of what we
have already under FDNPKG repositories?

http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/distributions/1.1/repos/

It also comes with a bootable CD ISO.

I am under the impression that the "only" thing needed for a 1.2 release
is a working installation process that would be able to install all
these packages - Jim's install might be reused/adapted for this.
