At present, I know very little about the FDNPKG. However, I thought it was 32-bit+ only. I do know that the new version needs to support 16bit legacy systems. It may be possible to do some automation that “ports” those packages to zip format for maximum compatibility. Don’t get me wrong, personally I don’t care and neither does the installer.
