It would be better if there could be bugfixes for those drivers which crash in virtual systems and bugfixes for DOSEMU and/or FreeCOM instead. Similarily, there is certainly SOME way to simulate port 61 better in that Skylake BIOS, making all beeping software work and not just the apps which happen to not trigger the bug or which got fixed with workarounds.
