Doesn't seem to make it much of a Win9x replacement to me, but hey, to each their own. :-) Now that GEOS/Geoworks is FOSS, that seems the best target for a potential DOS-compatible FOSS multitasking GUI. I have been involved in the FreeGEM project for a long time but GEM is very very limited, and the version in FDIMPLES is crippled by being configured for a different directory than the one FDIMPLES puts it in.
