Hi! As part of my series of mails about interesting gitlab tickets, let me write about two tickets regarding UDVD2: https://gitlab.com/FreeDOS/drivers/udvd2/-/issues/3 tells that for some reason one needs TWO attempts in some CD-player app to make a drive play CD audio (in hardware). Maybe somebody familiar with ATAPI knows about some common workaround or unintuitive sequence of commands required to play audio which UDVD2 could implement to resolve this? https://gitlab.com/FreeDOS/drivers/udvd2/-/issues/4 says that on specific hardware, Fujitsu Esprimo P2510, booting is likely to hang in the "attempting to use UDVD2 CD drive" phase. Maybe somebody can reproduce this and find out more? Note that those tickets are older than UDVD2 2022-12-12, so it is possible that newer versions of UDVD2 already have resolved those issues.
