I followed the same steps and I was able to install and run Windows 3.11 in 386 Enhanced mode (WIN /3) on the latest FreeDOS kernel! Here were my steps: 1. Boot FreeDOS T2607 with menu option 4 (this only loads HIMEMX, not JEMMEX) 2. Install Windows 3.11 from floppies 3. Edit C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM.INI to add InDOSPolling=TRUE to the [386Enh] section 4. Run FreeDOS SHARE 5. Run WIN /3 And that worked! My only problem: I can't save files, such as from Notepad or Write. I can read files, but not save them.
