Hi, I've done what I wanted to do for kernel 2034, but there have been quite a few changes -- so if anyone can point me to any regressions which I missed myself it would be very helpful and I (and Bernd too this weekend) can avoid that brown paper bag.
Saved ~1100 bytes of resident code over kernel 2033. I will update history.txt this week in time for the real kernel 2034. Here's the URL of the binary (FAT32 -- 8086): http://freedos.sourceforge.net/kernel/kernel.sys (45k) The daily tarball is at the usual place (same directory, kernel.tgz, 334k) pat34rc.zip in the same directory has a source diff (79k). Please do not send in any optimizations and layout modifications -- they will go to \DEV\NUL until the real 2034 is released.
