FreeDOS is an operating system, not a massive destructor :-) You can use for example DBAN (Darik's Boot And Nuke), which is an open-source bootable CD giving many usefull option to unrecoverably erase hard drives. http://dban.sourceforge.net I use it each time I am selling an used computer, and it do the work very nicely.
