At some point the hardware may stop supporting DOS, due to BG buying off the chip makers. With virtualization system calls can be passed through a modern software system which will support the future. If I had a machine powerful enough I would be using this now just for fun. As it is I need another HD to put FreeDOS upon with some other things for long term experimentation. But there is a small problem, phone, rent and car insurance all due in two weeks. So fun will have to wait.
