It has to be installed using Windows 98SE, but once that's done one can grab the dos files for freedos. At least that used to be the way it was until I upgraded to Freedos 1.1. Something about not able to allocate below the 4 megabyte barrier when sbinit.com runs. I'm using Jemm386.
