I have a similar machine here: Lenovo Ideapad 110S-11IBR Mine is a bit newer. I installed Linux Mint 19 "Tara" - MATE (64-bit) in 2018 and was very satisfied, because everything I tried, worked out of the box. Current Mint is 19.3 "Tricia" <https://linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=275>, also I'm not sure you can run 64-bit on an Atom N270. Then try 32-bit. Afterwards you can probably install DOSBox or dosemu/dosemu2. If you don't like Mint or find it to big, try <https://archlinux32.org/>. There's no graphical installer like in Mint or other distros, but it's pretty forward. > I think is time to move over and maybe install a BBS or a Turbo > Pascal IDE :) A bulletin board system?
