What?

Those are latest available compiled kernel and versions of FreeCOM. No later
versions have been released yet. Nor has anyone provided compiled test versions
for inclusion in the monthly Interim build.

As for the copyright message, I have no idea why that was not updated for
kernel version 2.0.43. But, it is an easy thing to overlook. I often forget to
update that in my own projects until I eventually notice it needs changed.

If they were available, they would be in the Interim build for testing as soon
as I am aware of their existence.

With only a very few exceptions, I do not compile programs from source to
provide updated packages. Other than my own software, the only exception I can
think of at the moment is EDLIN. Other than the compiler, it has no other
dependencies.

In general, other programs are more complicated to compile with numerous
dependencies, specific compiler versions, special environment settings. It is a
tedious and time consuming process which I do not have the time.

There is nothing preventing you from building a test version of the latest
kernel and FreeCOM from their sources which could be included in the monthly
builds.

Without a compiled version being provided, the monthly build will continue to
have the latest released version.
