Yes, I remember the video. It was really cool to see Windows running
in Enhanced mode on FreeDOS! :-)

There's a new version to test? This is news to me. Bernd mentioned on
the get-together that Jeremy was working out some issues in the new
kernel, but I didn't know there was a release that people should test.

Are you one of the "we" who "have been waiting for people to TEST the
improved kernel"? Where have you shared this announcement? I haven't
seen it on freedos-devel, which is where we should share announcements
like this, so *everyone* who works on FreeDOS can see it. Or have you
emailed only a few people to ask them to test it in private? (If so,
that's not very "open." Please share these announcements with
freedos-devel.)

If what you said (above) is true and there's a new kernel version that
should be tested, it should get included in the monthly test releases.
That's why we have the test release.
