You can possibly install it, but I don't think you can boot it from one.

What OS is this?

There were boot managers that did "illegal" things to DOS-partitioned
hard disks to allow >4 primary partitions and things, but even when
this was current, I did not recommend them.

If I want to run >4 OSes that need primaries, I switch hard disks.
It's much more reliable.

Traditionally -- I say this because it's general 20th century stuff
and in places FreeDOS is different -- DOS wants to be in the first
visible primary partition on the first drive. You can have primaries
before it and if DOS can't read them it will ignore them. PowerQuest
Bootmagic (out there as a free download, and the best tool of its kind
IMHO) can hide other partitions to make this easier.
