Hello,

I gave up on my desire to install FreeDOS to a non C: drive. C: it is.

I did not get why you want to boot DOS from other than C primary.

If it has to do with booting other OS, I have not found that to be an issue. For a couple decades I have had DOS and Win3 on C primary. In the early days I had multiple versions of both of those, all on a single C primary.

Once Win wanted it's own partition, for a couple decades I have had two OS2 and two Win all on logicals. My current laptop has two W7 on logicals.

I have never had more than one primary, even Win7.
