Hi everyone, I recently tried installing FreeDOS 1.4 (as well as the latest monthly build) on a ThinkPad X270, but ran into some issues. I experienced random disk hangs and errors, especially while trying to format partitions, which made the standard installation very difficult.A few important details:
• Hardware: ThinkPad X270 with the latest firmware/BIOS update. • Drive: NVMe SSD (the drive itself is healthy, as Windows and Linux both run flawlessly on it). I eventually managed to get FreeDOS installed by manually extracting the ZIP packages using Linux. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with NVMe drives or FreeDOS on this specific hardware?
