Hi, There were a few known issues with 389-ds and sync_repl. I see your version of 389-ds is 1.4.3.16-8.module_el8.4.0 but 389-ds-base-1.4.3.23-2.module_el8.5.0+835+5d54734c.x86_64.rpm <http://mirror.centos.org/centos/8-stream/AppStream/x86_64/os/Packages/389-ds-base-1.4.3.23-2.module_el8.5.0+835+5d54734c.x86_64.rpm> is already available, maybe worth trying the latest packages.
