Hi Thx for the quick feedback but in our case it's not needed to have same users on freeipa and AD in fact the AD is only used for the windows servers DNS is managed externally and there is no DHCP server everything is with fixed IPs
so in our case it would be a freeipa server that 100% detached from the Windows side only running in the same IP range with the same domain name.
