Hello Florence. Just installed Ubuntu 26 server, and enrolled it into my domain as usual I do with 18-24 version. Same settings as always, but sudo command sais: sudo: I'm sorry username. I'm afraid I can't do that. Strange message. If there was some problem with the IPA group I would see something like "user is not allowed to run sudo"
I checked sssd.conf, nsswitch.conf, made them same as in ubuntu 24. I checked the logs from your link, but it seems sudo commands does not reach the logs. btw local user sudo works fine. -- _______________________________________________ FreeIPA-users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedorahosted.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
