Hello Florence.
Just installed Ubuntu 26 server, and enrolled it into my domain as usual I do 
with 18-24 version. Same settings as always, but sudo command sais:
sudo: I'm sorry username. I'm afraid I can't do that. Strange message. If there 
was some problem with the IPA group I would see something like "user is not 
allowed to run sudo"

I checked sssd.conf, nsswitch.conf, made them same as in ubuntu 24.
I checked the logs from your link, but it seems sudo commands does not reach 
the logs.

btw local user sudo works fine.
