moreover, the edge with 0 does not help at all as the normal user that
wants to insert a text at a certain place does not think
in that way. I would first start to collect requirements.
Some of them would be IMHO:
* Double click on a free place should automatically start the edit
mode of a free placeable text.
* Right click shows a popup. One entry should be "Insert free text..."
* Free placeable text must not move when nodes are folded or unfolded
* Free placeable text must move with the entire map.
* It must be possible to move the free text after inserting
* It must be possible to remove the free placeable text.
* It must be possible to change to box the free text is in.
* Free placeable text must not have children, clouds, attributes etc.
Seems to be a bigger development IMHO.
I don't even think, that we should realize this with common nodes as the
user expects something different (like a textbox in OOO).
Any thoughts?
