not exactly.
The old colors are not fixed, so it happens that the abstract class looks like:
abstract class FreeMindColors {
Color getSelectedNodeColor(MindMapNode node);
Color getMapBackgroundColor(MindMap map);
...
}
etc.
The old model has an implementation AFAIK like
Color getSelectedNodeColor(MindMapNode node){
return node.getNodeColor();
}
And the model currently realized in FreeMind is like:
getSelectedNodeColor(..) {
if( <is value present in preferences>) {
return <value from preferences>;
} else {
return SwingUI.getCaretColor();
}
}
or something similar.
Take a look at the selection colors in a text program:
if you mark a paragraph, then the colors in which the background and the color
of the text itself appears depends on the original background and color of the
selected text.
This should be reflected by the new implementation.
