Hello Dimitry,
thank you.
Based on that we know that at least on one Windows 2000 machine (Dimitry),
on one Windows Vista machine (Dan), and on one Linux machine (Eric) it is
impossible to save a mind map encrypted with Triple DES with FreeMind 0.8.0,
I estimate that:
Conclusion: The chances that FreeMind 0.8.0 users would encrypt a map that
they cannot decrypt later are low.
I am closing this issue, for now anyway.
Please, if you come accross any thread in forums dealing with encryption
issues, could you please forward it to me or enter in into the wiki page for
encryption?
Thanks Eric and Dimitry for your input on this issue.
Best regards,
Dan
