my position is clear: the next version should be beta, as there are going to
be many bugs in it. Your arguments do not reflect our experience from
0.8.0development. If you do not want me to be the FreeMind director,
just let me
know. Otherwise, please let the next version in beta status.

I do not follow this argument; to me, it is apparently wrong. The expression
at stake is not "more than zero" (#bugs > 0), but rather "many" (#bugs >>
0). And I am saying that RC is a version in which there is a chance that no
more bugs will be found, although also a chance that still further bugs will
be found. This definition of RC leads to resulting 2 to 3 RCs, not 6 like we
had in 0.8.0.
