the subject of this email is whether there are any licensing issues with
HotEqn, which could prevent us from distributing HotEqn.
I assume that the mathematics plugin that we are distributing with FreeMind
0.9.0 beta 15 uses HotEqn component, hosted at its home page:
http://www.atp.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/VCLab/software/HotEqn/HotEqn.html
I failed to find any license at that home page. Can you please advise me on
how can I verify that HotEqn has an appropriate, open source license? If the
license should be unverifiable, HotEqn must not be distributed with FreeMind
0.9.0 beta 16.
An aside: we have already had this discussion, but my search through the
emails failed to disclose any conclusion of this topic.
