Hi all, especially Chris,
looking at the data format of 0.9.0 beta 15, I have now discovered that the
IDs are stored for every node. How can this be? During the review process of
FreeMind 0.8.0, we have already had this discussion, with the result that
IDs should *not* be stored for every node. Have we had a new discussion of
this topic in 0.9.0? Have I missed some emails? I do not understand.
I any case, with this email, I am opening the discussion anew. There should
not be IDs for every node, unless good reasons show otherwise. At least the
users who store FreeMind XML in a CVS or Subversion are going to be glad
that the IDs are not there.
