Hi Chris but also Dimitry,
thanks for the quick response.
I have just tested freemind-bin-0_8-1.tar.gz in Windows Vista, Java 1.6.0_03,
finding the following:
1. The Preferences dialog opens without any obvious problems. I have
succeeded in changing the look and feel using preferences dialog.
2. Encryption is buggy. I have succeeded in saving an encrypted map.
However:
2a. Upon opening the encrypted map in a new session, I was told by FreeMind
that the password was incorrect.
2b. The following procedure leads to a bug: insert a new encryptable node as
a child of the root, using "Tools > Insert Encrypted Node"; drag and drop
the node to the other side of the root, which leads to the padlock becoming
closed; toggle the encryption state of the node using "Toggle Crypted /
Encrypted"; enter the password. The password is said to be incorrect.
Dimitry, could you please have a look at this issue?
Best regards,
Dan
