Hi,

I agree with Chris on the feature freeze. That's quite a big change, and
shouldn't be done now.

One suggestion: keep the feature for 0.9.1 (or 0.10.0), but already define
the form it will have in XML, and make sure that 0.9.0 can read such
things and just interprets plain text notes as HTML notes without
formatting.

Or just forget about this feature for now, also fine with me.

And for the future: I'd say it's a decision per node's note, like for node
text.
