I mean the new version on a new kernel. Just I tryed out with
some measurements.
I changed the cooperative kernel a bit, after count reaches
100000, a "hlt" instruction is perfomed and guest stops.
With kernel 2.2.13, it takes between 754 and 777 seconds,
average is 765 seconds. With kernel 2.3.99-pre9 between
832 and 863 seconds, average is 843 seconds. So, kernel
2.2.13 is a littel bit faster than 2.3.99-pre9. No idea, why...
Yes, it's not as much as I expected after I watched the
counting numbers yesterday - perhaps the heat boils my brain... ;)
