Your only other option is to make something to run on the client OS that
allows the current mouse position to be set if it sees a request from
the monitor. The monitor could then pass those requests in from the VNC
plugin. Not only would this help your problem, but it could be useful
for the whole project if you want your windows cursor to move at the
same rate as your X cursor, or you'd like to be able to drag the cursor
off one end of the windows desktop and have it reappear when your X
cursor comes back onto it somewhere else. The "Tools" VMware tells you
to load have a similar function.
