That's what CVSweb is for ...  It's much easier accessible
anyway (provided you're online, of course).  Check out the
web page!

As I said, *especially* in the case of overlapping patches,
it is more helpful to have log comments that are automatically
*guaranteed* to match to the actual changes.   This will *not* 
always be the case if you rely on manually attaching comments.


In any case, please don't misunderstand me:  of course,
adding explanations in comments, including your name etc.
is fine with me if you want to do that.  I just don't want
to start instituting policies like 'everytime you change
something you must add a comment with your name' :-/

This doesn't work, isn't enforceable, and IMO isn't
even especially useful in any case.
