Well, it wouldn't be practical to do that with every comment anyway --- nor would it be neccessary. OTOH, it does seem to me to be useful for a specific type of comment -- the "fix me/change me later" kind of comment. Normal code documentation doesn't need to be named but for this kind of comment it's often useful to have a fast reference on who made it, in case you're confronted with it when coding something else (or in case you want to fix it ;)) -- Ramon
