I'm really getting tired of hearing this one... There are at least 600
Gnome developers and you won't find even 1/3rd of them by searching cvs.
Regardless of whether you believe I have developed for Gnome or not, the
intent of my letter wasn't to toss all the Gnome code away as so many
people have tried to put it. What I firmly believe is that as the line
between KDE and Gnome becomes more and more blurred we should seek to
MERGE the projects. If you are interested in my position take a look at
my follow up that will appear on LWN as well as essays from other
developers to follow.
