I'd go for 2.0.5 - you'll need whatever dependencies you are attempting to use - want postgres? you'll need to ensure postgresql development files/headers are installed etc. of course, if you build the package on a 'build server' and put it on other systems - then all they [run systems] need are the main packages - postgresql-server etc etc and no development stuff. alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
