I've been toying with the idea of "upgrading" from cistron radiusd 1.6.4 to
freeradius for some time, but the thought of using a CVS snapshot (which is
constantly a moving target) to run a mission critical system makes me a bit
edgey. (I like to sleep well at night :) I've had bad experiences with some
programs like ntop which are perpetually in CVS and only ever seem to
release a "stable" version once in a blue moon.
I'm not saying freeradius is like this, as I havn't tried it yet. For all I
know it could be pretty good...Hopefully 0.2 will be relatively stable and
usable. Here's hoping...
