Is there anyone out there that does FreeRadius consulting? I'd normally wade through manuals and figure stuff out on my own but my WISP just got funding and I am simultaneously climbing a variety of learning curves - FreeRadius, OpenLDAP, PPPoE, microwave tuning, etc. I've installed FreeRadius on a couple of systems, one intended for production, the other a testbed here at my house. I've got one of the remote access devices we plan on using active at home so testing should be pretty simple. I've examined the content of /doc and read most of the files in /usr/local/etc/raddb. I use nothing but FreeBSD, my formal training was software engineering at an excellent four year school, and I've got some meaningful Cisco certs - I won't become a "house pet" constantly bugging you for simpel stuff - I just need someone to *quickly* answer a few questions. My objectives are to get FreeRadius up and authenticating using /etc/passwd and then migrate to OpenLDAP. I am interested in what works/doesn't work in terms of controlling IP address allocation via radius - I have two different locations and they have their own IP allocations - this will grow to many different devices each with its own IP address block. huntgroups seem to be the way to do this but I don't want to be out testing how this works on live users. I can pay by check, paypal, and I'd be willing to purchase & ship something to you if you're outside the US. Serious responses only please. Make sure to respond to the mailto: address below and not the isptech address - that one is a junk box for mailing lists. -- Neal Rauhauser CCNP, CCDP phone: 402-951-6390 http://AmericanRelay.com fax : 402-951-6390 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] fcc : k0bsd - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
