Greetings:

One subscriber told me that the sem_init problem I got while running
FreeRADIUS was due to some thread problem in FreeBSD. He advice me to ask
for further advice here.

I'm using FreeBSD 3.2 and in this new release as well as in the previous I
get the following when trying to run it with MySQL support:

#./radiusd -X
A lot of debugging stuff here ...

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/freeradius/lib/rlm_sql.so.0: Undefined symbol
"sem_init"

I'm not able to upgrade my system now, it's a production system and
something like that has to be done very carefully so I need a way around
this. Besides, because I was told it was something related with the
threading I ran configure with the --without-threads options and
everything was the same.

Version 0.1 compiles with threads enable but the new one 0.2 does not in
my FreeBSD 3.2 system, the compilation process complains about all kinds
of sem_??? stuff.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Elie
