I am proxying to another server and not receiving a response. I need to return a
reject message to the originating NAS within a specified time frame or else the
proxy is marked as dead. The comments in the radiusd.conf file suggest that a
reject message will be generated:

# max_request_time: The maximum time (in seconds) to handle a request.
#
# Requests which take more time than this to process may be killed, and
# a REJECT message is returned.

However, I see no evidence of this.

I am not ready to give 0.4 a whirl just yet ...

Thx,

Angus.
