In some previous job (a few years ago) we set up NT, VMS & AIX to do kerberos using a 3rd party tools for NT & AIX. The problem was the software for the major platform (AIX) wasn't stable (hanging/crashing etc.) and that blew the project away. IIRC the nt software was Gradient?(DCE) Transarc?(DFS) and also the IBM client DCE.
