I can get freeRADIUS 0.5 to authenticate properly with my linux shadow file.
However, I need to be able to authenticate properly using CHAP (not by choice) but don't want to go through the hassle of installing an SQL database. I know there is a way to specify a 'custom' password file but cannot find any information on how to do it. Ideally, the CHAP password file only needs to contain 'username:password'. Can anyone help?
