Hey All.... I'm in the middle of upgrading my ISP servers using FreeRADIUS.
My main concern is SPEED. I have my opinions, but another one is ALWAYS helpful! I will be handling about 300,000+ users and growing within the next few months. ( Chris might be interested in that statement ;-) ) Any opinions on the following: - FreeBSD 4.6 or Red Hat 7.2 (Mostly a religious question, but it does matter) - MySQL, GDMB, BerkeleyDB, or LDAP 2.x for the users (I really want to replicate between 2 boxes) - RAM (I'm doing 1 GB, but can be easily persuaded to use 2) - Disk Array (I'm using 2 ea. 18 GB Mirrored...I'd rather be using 6 ea with RAID 1+0 and) - Lots of pipe..... (Not an issue....) On a side note.... Anyone opinions on the fastest Email solution is encouraged. (Watch out for the Topic Police) Michael Funk - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
