This is a theoretical issue, but I guess you should know this..

I'm trying to figure out how the prepaid system really works, but i
couldn't find any info on that.

The thing I can't really figure out is this:
once you're authenticated on NAS, who keeps your (prepaid) info?
Is it stored on NAS (e.g. *this user may still download 20Mb of data* or
*this user can be connected for another 10 minutes*), or is radiusd
aware of a user and says *whoa, this user has just used up all his
prepaid time - disconnect*
This could work in case of prepaid time limit, but if you have prepaid
data limit, how would you do that?

Do NAS and radiusd exchange any data between the first time (when one
authenticates/authorizes/..) and connection-close time (accounting,..)?
Does this work the same in prepaid and postpaid system?

If anyone can help me understand this, I'd be very helpful..
Also any link to any documentation on that..

Thanx a lot

Jure
