The output is: ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version 1, dynamically
linked, stripped

I've already done a make install so it's in the right place.

The only ld/ar/as/etc in my path is from /usr/ccs/bin.

Actually gcc 2.95.3 can produce 64 bit binaries, but unfortunately this
isn't my call.  I can't change our compiler because of the
responsibilities of other groups here (where I do CM work).
