I am constructing some freeRADIUS systems.
RadHat7.3 + MySQL + freeRADIUS0.8.1
RedHat9 + MS-SQL + freeRADIUS0.9.0
They are running very well.
I let them have functions of redundancy. PROXY's fail-over,
ACCT's radreply and replicated Databases. I tested it. I noticed
a problem.
When a database stops, freeRADIUS always replies "reject".
So, Many users cannot receive service, although they are right
and redundant system is fine.
# I think it isn't easy to implement a function of handling
# secondary databases into current "rlm_sql" module.
If RADIUS carries out the following operation, I can avoid this.
If RADIUS replies nothing when database is stop, NAS or PROXY
notice timeout. So they will change using another right RADIUS.
If I can do it by setting some configuration file only, please tell
me how to do it.
