By doing that, you've over-written everything in the configuration file which points to the new location of the server.
"radiusd.conf" is still pointing to the old libraries for FreeRADIUS. Edit the 'libdir' directive (and any others necessary) to point to the new directory, and it should work.
yep. a few other minor changes ( permissions fixes, basically ) .
