OK, i have setup pam_radius_auth on my freeBSD 5.X gateway to look at my freeradius server. I can see pam IS using pam_radius_auth to authenticate and DOES look to send info to the radius server. However I do not see any request come in to the radius server and the pam_radius_auth says that ALL radius servers failed to respond. I have set up /etc/pam.d/login to use pam_radius_auth.so and have also copied the server and modified for my radius server. i am also getting an error code that says "_openpam_check_error_code(): pam_sm_setcred(): unexpected return value 12". Anyone know a pointer that may help me resolve this issue? I can find nothing on this error and not very familiar with openpam so don't know if it is pam or radius.
